Kanjiža is the town of silence,. It has 900
year old history. It is near the Hungarian border ( 15 km), 40
km from Subotica, 120 km from Novi Sad and 200 km from Belgrade. Kanjiža is floating on the thermomineral water accumulated in the sediments of former ocean the Paratetis, the forerunner of the Panon sea and the warm Panon lake.
